For particle sizes greater than 40 μ M abrasive, called abrasive particles. It is classified by screening method. The particle size number is expressed by the number of holes within the length of inches on the screen through which the abrasive particles pass. For example, 60 of the abrasive particles mean that their size can just pass through the screen with 60 holes per inch. For the particle size less than 40 μ M abrasive, called micro powder. Grading by micrometric method, W and the following numbers represent the particle size number, and the value after w represents the actual size of the micro powder. For example, W20 represents that the actual size of the micro powder is 20 μ m.
